At the end of a year with its fair share of turbulence but also new opportunities, BEI has been working with members to keep abreast of change and to seek out the markets issues and partnerships that can make a real difference around the world.

Our strength comes from our network – our stakeholders in UK Government Departments, Ministers and their teams from every continent, commercial and financial partners, multilateral agencies and foundations. We thank them, and all our members, for working with us over another year.

I hope that our Yearbook will bring back memories of a year of valuable collaborations.

It’s been a pleasure to see so many members and friends in our new home at One Birdcage Walk. We wish you all a restful break over Christmas and look forward to working with you to promote Britain’s unique expertise around the world in 2026.
