Please note this event will take place at Accenture, 30 Fenchurch St, London EC3M 3BD.
Following the online launch of our "Water Risk & Finance: Bridging the Gap" paper earlier this year, this in-person event will look to further explore how the financial community can better understand, price and respond to water-related risk, as well as how projects can best be packaged to engage private finance at an early stage.
Water risk is increasingly recognised as a material financial issue, with impacts spanning supply chains, infrastructure and economic stability, yet private capital has historically struggled to engage with the sector at scale. The paper sets out practical pathways for closing that gap: reframing water risk as a financial imperative, making better use of data and metrics and identifying investable opportunities across sectors and geographies, both in the UK and internationally.
Bringing together contributors to the paper alongside voices from across finance and industry, this session will look at what it actually takes to package water resilience projects in ways that attract private capital, and what investors are looking for in return.
Running order:
16:00-16:30 – Arrival
16:30-18:00 – Panel session
18:00-19:00 – Networking drinks
