Following our whistle-stop global tour during our ‘Meet the British Ambassador’ series, British Expertise is delighted to be hosting a number of UK Heads of Mission once more, to delve deeper into some of the opportunities and challenges for UK business in various countries.
This event will include key, country-specific insights into Malaysia, and take us through a ‘deep-dive’ on doing business and opportunities for UK business in Malaysia.
The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised their 2020 Malaysia economic forecasts to account for a larger year-on-year contraction than previously estimated as the country contends with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of the risks facing Malaysia include political uncertainty and slow economic recoveries in key trading partners - rather than internal difficulties. We’re looking forward to being joined by His Excellency Charles Hay, Ambassador to Malaysia, to shed some light on the challenges and opportunities - not only for Malaysia, but for British businesses operating in the country.
