Whenever a safeguarding incident occurs, the most appropriate approach to take it the ‘survivor-centred approach’. This means that the survivor of the incident is the person who then directs the response. But why is this approach important and what does it mean in practice? How does our response change when the survivor is a child? And what should we consider when we work with an adult-at-risk?
The Safeguarding Leads Network would like to invite you to this participatory webinar which will take participants through survivor-centred basics and will offer time and space to explore difficult issues through facilitated discussion.
