The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on virtually all aspects of life - and very few sectors, if any, have been left unaffected by the crisis. The legal sector, like many others, will take lessons from the ups and downs of Covid-19 - and the question is: where will the sector, and collaborative efforts for the UK legal industry, go next?
Significant liberalisation in the past few decades to the legal profession in Singapore has provided ample opportunity for Singapore-UK collaboration. This has spurred the development of local commercial law firms, and helped Singapore establish itself as a regional hub for legal systems.
Join us, in collaboration with the Law Society, to discuss the future of UK-Singapore collaboration after the pandemic - what future partnerships may look like, opportunities for UK businesses, and what ‘building back better’ might mean in the legal sector.
The discussion will aim to answer as many questions as possible - Members are free to email questions in advance.
Speakers:
Donna Evans, International Policy Manager, The Law Society of England & Wales
Tien Gui Koh, Partner, BCLP Singapore
Justinian Habner, DIT Country Director, Singapore
Yvonne Foo, Partner, HarryElias Partnership
