As part of British Expertise International’s activities surrounding the Education World Forum (EWF), join us on Thursday 21st May for a roundtable with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines. We are delighted to welcome the delegation from CHED, led by Shirley Agrupis, Chairperson, and Dr. Christine Nabor Ferrer, International Affairs Services Director.

The session will focus on aligning higher education with human capital and the employment needs of the Philippines.

We will explore the following areas:

  • Skills and employability for graduates
  • Scaling lifelong learning, micro‑credentials, and flexible pathways for working adults and returning OFWs
  • Strengthening academic standards and quality assurance
  • The role of international research and quality assurance partnerships
  • Opportunities to deepen collaboration in Higher Education between the UK and the Philippines
