Join us for a roundtable with HM Trade Commissioner to Asia Pacific, Martin Kent. This event will provide members with the opportunity to hear from Martin on current trade in the region.
Martin will set out the current state of play across the Asia-Pacific region and what it means practically for UK exporters and investors. He will cover the UK's evolving network of trade agreements in the region, including implementation of the UK-India Free Trade Agreement and how members can make use of Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) preferences now that the agreement is in force.
He will also talk about the practical shifts reshaping regional supply chains, including the diversification of manufacturing and sourcing into Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian markets, and what this means for UK firms exporting into these growing markets.
