Join the BEI Water Resilience Working Group for a panel event and networking lunch as we unveil the latest edition of our report, "Water Resilience – Unlocking Local and Global Benefits Through Collaboration." First published a year ago, this updated edition reflects the significant shifts in the geopolitical and funding landscape over the past 12 months. We have re-examined how policymakers and delivery partners can navigate and strengthen Water Resilience in an evolving world.
This new edition explores essential themes that underpin Water Resilience in today's rapidly changing environment. We examine the role of project finance and blended finance, highlighting innovative funding models that can accelerate critical water initiatives. We address the critical importance of energy security, recognising its impact on water security. In addition, we emphasise the importance of governance and political will, demonstrating how leadership and policy frameworks shape resilience outcomes. Finally, we provide insights into decision support, offering practical tools and approaches to guide sustainable water management in the face of uncertainty.
To celebrate the launch of the report, we invite you to join us for a panel event featuring key BEI member stakeholders. Titled "Rethinking Water Resilience: Strategies for a Changing World”, the discussion will reflect the fresh perspectives and approaches highlighted in the publication.
The event will begin with arrivals at 10:30 BST, followed by the panel discussion from 11:00 to 12:30. Attendees are also welcome to continue conversations at our networking lunch until 14:00. For those unable to join in person, we are pleased to offer the option to participate remotely in the 11:00-12:30 BST panel discussion.
