Keeping ahead of political and geopolitical change is arguably the preeminent challenge for public affairs, as a growing number of stakeholders emerge, sometimes unexpectedly, seeking to influence decisions. As the world becomes multipolar and domestic politics multiparty, how can we see the wood for the trees, and how can AI and expert judgement combine to keep business leaders ahead of the game?
This informal roundtable session will be an opportunity for public affairs and government relations specialists to share and discuss how emerging technology can maximise their reach and impact, especially ahead of the major party conferences.
Terence Lyons is CEO of TSC.ai (The Stakeholder Company), based in Singapore. He previously headed Microsoft's global public affairs strategy across 32 countries, and has more than 20 years experience working with Fortune 500 companies including ExxonMobil, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Rio Tinto and DSM.
Terence is a Guest Lecturer at Oxford Saïd Business Schoolon stakeholder intelligence, reputation theory, and the digitalisation of external affairs. He writes and speaks about public affairs, covering augmented intelligence, moving corporations from reactive to proactive stakeholder engagement, managing complex influence networks, and the business case for data-driven reputation management.
