Preventing Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV)

Technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) is a growing problem around the world. The design and use of digital technologies - and wider internet and technology governance - are facilitating new ways in which GBV is perpetrated, with artificial intelligence acting as a key driver. TFGBV has wide-reaching implications, including restricting democratic processes, freedom of speech and critical climate advocacy.
