Join us for an in-depth discussion with the Trade Envoy to Morocco, Dr Andrew Murrison MP. Morocco has opened up opportunities for British business in both Infrastructure and Education. In Infrastructure, Morocco’s relatively strong governance and regulatory frameworks are opening up investment opportunities for the future. Coupled with this, Morocco’s transport and infrastructure strategy has included planned new motorways, roads, railways, ports and airport upgrades. Other sectors of interest include energy (both hydrocarbons and renewables), and financial and professional services.
Dr Murrison will share his outlook on Morocco and the relevant opportunities and barriers and provide his perspective on the future UK-Morocco trade relations, specifically in the context of the recently ratified trade deal between Morocco and the UK. The event will enable the Trade Envoy to understand the UK’s offerings overseas and allow him to reference specific companies and opportunities when in future discussions.
This event compliments our prior event on Tuesday 15th February with the HE Simon Martin CMG, the British Ambassador to Morocco, who shared his insights into the political landscape and gave a brief economic overview.
