Join us for a ‘virtual’ roundtable discussion with the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Mongolia, Daniel Kawczynski MP. Mongolia has a growing economy with opportunities for UK companies across a broad range of sectors including energy, education and agriculture.
The renewable energy sector offers opportunities in solar, wind power and hydropower where UK companies can get involved in. With existing large mineral deposits including copper and gold much of it still to be surveyed, there are also some opportunities around mining infrastructure, exploration, extraction and production, as well as providing technologies related research and consultancy services.
Daniel is Member of Parliament for Shrewsbury and Atcham. He previous roles include Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales and also sat on the International Development, Justice, and Environmental, Food & Rural Affairs Select Committees. In the last Parliament he was also appointed the Prime Minister's Envoy to the Polish and Eastern European Diaspora in the United Kingdom.
