Whilst South Asia is still on course to make an economic rebound in 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic is still creating significant issues for the region as it steers its way towards recovery. In addition to the challenging economic impacts, the growing health implications are still unfolding as the region struggles to access and deliver vaccines. The social and political effects of the pandemic have yet to fully unfold, although trade and business in general have so far managed to continue, albeit at a much-reduced pace with potential for a quick recovery. The continuing uncertainty, however, means it is vital for UK businesses to hear the latest updates and insights from the High Commissioners as they paint a picture of the realities on the ground.
