

In the Central Africa Region predicted growth for 2020 was 3.5%, however in the region that relies largely on oil prices and raw materials for growth, these estimates will fall short. The region remains one of the continents least integrated regions. It is in a vulnerable position due to security worries and political instability. However, there is promise with the African Development Bank investing in transport and agriculture and implementing plans to diversify the economy and develop financial systems to promote inclusive finance.
