Event details

Dominic Jermey was appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor-Leste in 2023. Dominic’s previous diplomatic postings include serving as HM Ambassador to Afghanistan (2016 to 2017) and to the United Arab Emirates (2010 to 2014). He was also Managing Director and Chief Executive of the UK’s inward investment and export support agency, UK Trade and Investment from 2007 to 2010 and 2014 to 2015. In 1999 to 2000, Dominic was British Representative to the UN Transitional Administration in East Timor, reporting to the UK Ambassador in Jakarta. Dominic has also served in Pakistan, Spain, Macedonia and headed the UK’s crisis team in Thailand following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.
