Discover how New Zealand is reshaping its infrastructure and water services and what this means for UK businesses. This session, held in partnership with Infrastructure New Zealand and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), will provide an overview of New Zealand’s infrastructure planning and water sector reform, including recent policy shifts and investment priorities.
Speakers will highlight opportunities in the country’s infrastructure and water sectors with a focus on areas such as asset management, digital solutions, engineering consultancy and sustainable construction, with insights into current projects, procurement processes and future needs. Attendees will hear about recent government strategy and planning including the ‘Local Water Done Well’ initiative. This programme is changing how water services are delivered across New Zealand and is creating new opportunities for suppliers, consultants and technology providers to support local councils and regional water entities.
