As the UK-EU transition period comes to an end and the United Kingdom emerges from many of the European Union's rules and processes, understanding the proposed future relationship as it relates to international development is key to many of our members who have delivered and wish to continue delivering work with the EU.
Join us as the FCDO Europe Department shares the latest insights on how the UK government will continue to collaborate with the EU27 going forward.
Bo Sundstrom, Head of the EU Development Programme at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, will join us for a discussion on the EU's future development programming, how the UK will look to collaborate, potential opportunities for partnerships post-Brexit, and more. Bo's presentation will touch on grants and financial mechanisms, and the EU – UK’s post-exit relationships on development and humanitarian priorities. The presentation will be followed by a discussion - Q&As.
This event will be held on Microsoft Teams. The discussion will aim to answer as many questions as possible - Members are free to email questions in advance.
