Join us as we host Andrew Ockenden, Development Director in Ukraine for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), who will present FCDO’s development strategy, programming and pipeline of opportunities in Ukraine.
As outlined within the UK-Ukraine 100 Year Partnership Strategy, the UK government will continue to provide humanitarian, development and economic support to Ukraine. The government has protected Ukraine's bilateral ODA allocation at £240m per year, and the FCDO will provide $2bn in loan guarantees through the World Bank to help meet Ukraine's 2026 financing needs. FCDO has also allocated over £109m ODA over three years to Ukraine from the Integrated Security Fund and British International Investment has committed £250m over 5 years.
Against this backdrop, Andrew will offer us updates on the current context on the ground, as well as crucial insights into FCDO's development strategy in the country.
