Join us for a panel discussion on diversity and inclusion in the infrastructure sector and explore how more can be done to improve and promote a more diverse workforce. As part of BEI’s support to diversity and inclusion, we will be hearing from a panel of speakers from diverse backgrounds as they share their stories about their experiences and career progression in infrastructure. We will also hear about some of the efforts being done to improve diversity and inclusion in the sector.
The infrastructure sector employs a significant number of people including those delivering consultancy services. It’s important that sector promotes diversity and inclusion in its workforce. There are growing infrastructure opportunities internationally where UK companies provide much needed expertise. These growing opportunities require sustainable and improved infrastructure, to meet the needs of an evolving world. The sector has an opportunity to increase its efforts to ensure diversity and inclusion in meeting the growing needs and fill any emerging gaps in the workforce with talent from diverse backgrounds.
