The UK-Dominican Republic trade relationship continues to grow, with total trade reaching around £600 million in the latest reporting period, driven largely by rising UK exports. As one of the largest and most stable economies in the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic presents a range of opportunities for UK organisations, underpinned by the UK-CARIFORUM Economic Partnership Agreement.
In partnership with the Commonwealth Countries Roundtable in the Dominican Republic (CCCDR), this session will bring together colleagues from ProDominicana, the British Embassy in Santo Domingo and the British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic to provide UK organisations with a cross-sector overview of engaging in this market, including the opportunity pipeline, common challenges, and support available from UK and local partners.
