

The CDB is an important multilateral partner for the UK, delivering a range of the UK's objectives and values across the Caribbean Join us for an event cohosted by the Caribbean Council & DIT and a panel of CDB experts for an insight and discussion on the CDB’s procurement guidelines, and upcoming CDB opportunities in the Infrastructure and Resilience sectors.
With it’s its core goal is to reduce inequality and halve extreme poverty in its borrowing member countries by 2025. The CDB provide sample opportunity for UK plc who have expertise in dealing with the conditions that are currently faced in the Caribbean nations.
The CDB’s investments in education focus on improving access to quality early childhood development, promoting gender-equitable access to non-traditional occupational areas; and improving the quality of teacher effectiveness by supporting quality school leadership and teacher development and access to pedagogical resources. The bank’s social sector and covid response targets the most vulnerable groups and works to ensure that all communities across the Caribbean have access to basic social services.
