This roundtable will provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing between UK organisations and the inbound delegation around some of Brazil's critical needs in the water sector. The delegation’s current priorities and interests include river restoration to address environmental degradation; the application of Nature-based Solutions for sustainable water management and climate resilience; optimisation efforts to balance water supply and demand; and robust standards and metrics for monitoring and evaluation. Underpinning this are efforts to embrace technology and innovation to enhance water security, improve infrastructure and support efficient resource management.
