BEI is delighted to announce the launch of their Clinics, a series of workshops in which we will look to explore the practicalities of working with donors, foundations, international organisations, and foreign policy affecting the British businesses.
In the first of BEI’s Education Clinics, the British Foreign Policy Group team will be using their insights to share what the UK can expect from the direction of the new Government, in regards to both wider Government foreign policy objectives, and how these may translate into education policy more specifically.
This session will delve into the new structure of government, touch on a range of domestic and foreign policy priorities and shifting focuses, and consider what impact these may have on international education policy; namely ODA and the international education strategy.
Presentation Structure:
- Layout of the current Government, inc. DfE.
- Shifts in Government, under new administration.
- Broad effect on education policy and the international education strategy
The British Foreign Policy Group (BFPG) is an independent, non-partisan think tank dedicated to advancing the UK’s global influence, at a crucial time in the nation’s modern history. Our core objective is to bridge the link between the domestic and international spheres – recognising that Britain’s foreign policy choices are shaped by our social, economic and democratic landscape at home. BFPG works as the connective tissue between the UK’s policy-makers, businesses, institutions, and ordinary citizens, to promote the connectivity and understanding needed to underpin Britain’s national resilience and global leadership in the 21st Century.
