Sri Lanka is a growing market and its geographical location in South Asia makes it an attractive base from which to reach a market of over 1.6 billion people. Sri Lanka has an established and growing middle class and much of the middle class has a direct link with the UK through work, study or though family members in the UK which results in UK products being familiar.
The UK’s top exports to Sri Lank include education,infrastructure services, information, and communications technology (ICT) & financial services with more opportunities in other areas.
We have organised this latest in a series of “member sonly” private round-table webinars to give members the opportunity to engage with Trade Envoys in a closed roundtable discussion. The event format enables members to brief the Trade Envoys on some of their priorities as well as any challenges they face. The Trade Envoys will also share their insights and experiences of their markets of responsibility, including key opportunities and potential G2G engagement plans which may be of interest.
