Supporting Infrastructure related exports sits at the heart of BEI’s mission and purpose. The impact and implications of the changing global environment – including Climate Change, Brexit and the Covid-19 epidemic raise new challenges for industry, including the need to explore new export markets, products, technologies and methodologies, amongst other things. This working group is open to members exporting services that feed into the infrastructure supply chain. This includes financial, legal, standards and regulatory aspects as well as design, project management, engineering and other key infrastructure related exports. The UK has a distinctive offer in the global infrastructure space, but it is not always well understood, organised or communicated. This group, in partnership with government and other key stakeholders such at the City of London, UKEF and CDC, will better define that offer and leverage it to increase exports. The working group also feeds into BEI’s events programme to ensure it remains business relevant and focussed in support of members interests.
