Join us for an online procurement workshop with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), organised in partnership with the British Embassy in Manila, where we will explore how UK companies can best access and compete for ADB-financed opportunities across Asia.
This session will break down how ADB projects translate into real procurement, where funding is flowing and which areas offer the most realistic entry points for UK firms.
The session will also look to provide clear insights into how UK companies can best position themselves to win ADB business, from understanding eligibility requirements and improving visibility to aligning with evaluator expectations and avoiding common pitfalls.
Speakers will highlight practical pathways for success, including subcontracting, joint ventures and strategic partnerships – approaches that are often key for SMEs and first-time bidders. In addition, speakers from the British Embassy in Manila will outline the role that the UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) plays in supporting UK companies, highlighting concrete tools and services available to support British engagement with the ADB.
This clinic also serves as a prelude to the ADB Business Opportunities Fair (BOF) in September and will aim to help UK organisations make best use of future engagement with the Bank and to build stronger, more strategic pipelines in doing so.
