British Expertise International in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), UK Department for International Trade, and the UK-ASEAN Business Council, are pleased to host this year’s ADB Virtual Business Opportunities Seminar (VBOS) series to provide insights on the ADB’s key sector plans and a forward look on their business pipelines and opportunities.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a key multilateral partner for the UK, delivering a range of the UK’s objectives and values across Asia and the Pacific (APAC), including promoting global prosperity, peace, security and good governance, building resilience, and protecting the most vulnerable people.
The UK holds a good winning record in consultancies with the ADB, averaging an annual export of £40mn in ADB contracts since 2016. There is room to perform better in securing contracts for goods and works. UK strengths complement ADB project needs in the sectors of transport, climate change resilience, energy, education, and healthcare.
The second session in this series, on 21st September 2022, will cover Urban Development, Climate Resilience, Transport and PPP:
In addition, this session will provide an overview of doing business with the ADB and discuss Consulting Opportunities.
The first session, on 14th September 2022, will cover opportunities in Energy, Healthcare and Education, and an overview of ADB’s procurement system (click here for more information and to register).
A better understanding of ADB’s priority investments and planned interventions will provide UK companies the opportunity to align resources, highlight UK expertise, and effectively prepare to participate in ADB’s projects, ultimately supporting the ADB’s efforts to eradicate extreme poverty and achieve a prosperous, inclusive, resilient and sustainable Asia and the Pacific.
A range of data points will be collected during the registration process to confirm your place on the webinar. BEI will share your data with third parties involved with the delivery of this event. By registering, you agree to these terms in full.
