Nick is an independent consultant. As a previous leader of Newcastle City Council, Labour lead at the local Government Association, invited observer to shadow cabinet and a past member of Labour's National Executive Committee, he brings highly relevant insight for business to both national and regional policy formulation and priorities. In addition to his work for Strategy, Nick is heavily involved in work to address improving social mobility in the UK.
