What are the British Expertise International Awards?
The British Expertise International Awards recognise excellence in design, planning, management and construction of overseas projects. They support the continued outstanding success of UK professional services throughout the world.
The impact of these awards is increasing every year as the range of expertise offered by the membership broadens. British Expertise sees the awards as an excellent opportunity to demonstrate this diversity.
The judging panel will be led by our President, HRH The Duke of Gloucester, himself a qualified architect.
2010-11 Categories of entry are:
- Major Project of the Year (Contract value > £10m)
- Consultancy Project of the Year (Contract value < £10m)
- Development Project of the Year
- Environmental Impact Award
- Innovation Award
- Sports Leisure and Tourism Project of the Year
- Young Consultant of the Year

Members are welcome to submit entries for more than one project and in more than one category, in particular for both the firm and individuals.
Entries must be submitted no later than Thursday 30 September 2009. Judging will take place on Tuesday 5 October 2009.
The Awards Ceremony
The Annual Awards Dinner is always a highlight of the British Expertise calendar. This year it will be held on Thursday, 11 November 2010, at The Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED. HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO will host, and the keynote speech will be given by Paul Fletcher MBE, Stadiologist. The Awards will be presented during dinner.
The dinner and preceding drinks reception are our most important networking event of the year, a first rate opportunity for companies to meet and discuss business.
