What are the British Expertise International Awards?
The British Expertise International Awards recognise excellence in design, planning, management and construction of overseas projects. They support the continued outstanding success of UK professional services throughout the world.
The impact of these awards is increasing every year as the range of expertise offered by the membership broadens. British Expertise sees the awards as an excellent opportunity to demonstrate this diversity.
The judging panel will be led by our President, HRH The Duke of Gloucester, himself a qualified architect.
Categories of entry are:
- Major Project of the Year (Contract value > £10m)
- Consultancy Project of the Year (Contract value < £10m)
- Development Project of the Year
- Environmental Impact Award
- Innovation Award
- Emerging Market Award
- Young Consultant of the Year
The Awards Ceremony
The Annual Awards Dinner is always a highlight of the British Expertise calendar. This year it was held on Wednesday 9 November 2011, at The Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED. HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO hosted, and the keynote speech was given by The Right Honourable Michael Portillo. The Awards were presented during dinner.
The dinner and preceding drinks reception are our most important networking event of the year, a first rate opportunity for companies to meet and discuss business.
