Project Description
This training consultancy was requested by FAO's Emergency Operations and Rehabilitation Division (TCE) for the ARC-FAO Project in Aceh, Indonesia.
The consultant prepared and delivered a tailor-made training programme on Monitoring and Evaluation, Results-based planning and change management for staff and local partnering government staff for the rehabilitation and sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture in Aceh.
Services provided:
1) The IMA International Associate Consultant liaised and conferred with ARC-FAO Aceh staff to develop a series of workshops tailor-made to the needs of their M & E system.
2) A 5 day series of workshops was prepared covering the basics of M &E, the Logical Framework and Project Behavioral Change Management.
3) The workshops were designed to highly interactive and group-work and game focused to meet the learning needs and preferences of workshop participants.
4) Half a day was spent with senior ARC-FAO project management staff to provide them with an overview of M &E and their role in the process and to debrief them about training of partner and more junior project staff.
