Ski Dubai, the first snow centre in the Middle East, is the signature feature of the Mall of the Emirates retail and leisure complex in Dubai.
Features of Ski Dubai include:
„X Five ski runs serving levels from beginner to expert
„X A chairlift and tow lifts to transport skiers to the top of the runs
„X At 400m long and 60m high at the top of slope it is currently the third biggest in the world
„X A slope and snow park equivalent to the size of three football pitches
Hyder Consulting was the lead consultant, as well as structural and building services engineers for the Ski Dubai project.
For this project Hyder Consulting was a prizewinner in the Large Consultant category of the British Expertise International Awards 2006.
