A major contract to act as mine clearance contractor in South Sudan

Project Description

TDI is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a major contract by Louis Berger Group to act as mine clearance contractor in South Sudan under their Sudan Infrastructure Support Programme (SISP). This is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project, under which Louis Berger will build roads, construct schools and hospitals and carry out other development projects.

The contract is a three year, multi-million dollar contract, and TDI is tasked with providing a permanent headquarters establishment in Juba, South Sudan, as well as manual mine clearance teams, mine detecting dog teams, and mechanical clearance teams.

"We are delighted to have been awarded this contract which is a reflection of TDI's successful operations over the last 2 years in South Sudan, one of the most hostile working environments in Africa " said Edward Cross, Managing Director of TDI.
