Development of European - Turkish Business Centres

This ��.4M programme supporting the development of Turkish businesses was WYG International's first project in Turkey and remains the largest EU-funded consultancy project there.

The outcome was not certain. Considerable scepticism amongst stakeholders that the Centres could survive without EU funding produced a reluctance to commit.

Key to the project's success was clear evidence in our planning of a carefully considered and, above all realistic, strategy for sustainability, both of the Centres themselves and our whole approach to the project.

One year after the project the self-supporting Centres are thriving and the blueprint developed is being applied in other programmes.

For this project WYG International Limited was a prizewinner in the British Expertise International Awards 2007/8.
