We have over 35 years of development experience managing in excess of 300 projects in 64 countries for private, government, bilateral and multilateral clients.

ACTIVITIES

Development programme and project management spanning agriculture, education, environment and natural resources, health, infrastructure, law and justice, livestock, fisheries, finance and economic development, governance, and policy and public sector reform. Includes institutional and organizational capacity building at macro and micro levels within public, private and civil society frameworks.

TYPICAL PROJECTS
Zimbabwe:
Technical Learning and Co-ordination Unit for DFID's Protracted Relief Programme. GRM co-ordinates the monitoring and evaluation of the Protracted Relief Programme and assists with programme implementation in conjunction with the DFID country office.

South Africa: Municipal Financial Management Technical Assistance Project is a major World Bank funded project to help National Treasury implement a comprehensive national, provincial and local government financial management reform programme and to transfer skills and build local capacity through a number of fiscal grant schemes.

Philippines: Partnership for Women's Health and Safe Motherhood (EC) was targeted at particularly deprived and inaccessible areas and aimed to build up capacities and partnerships between communities, NGOs and local government for sustainable health system development, focussed on women, reproductive health and family conditions and choices.

Serbia: The Topola Rural Development Programme identified development opportunities and facilitated projects based on the initiative of local stakeholders (individuals, groups, companies, institutions, and local government authorities). Three structural facilities were used to transform ideas and opportunities into realistic projects.

Zambia: The GRM-managed Economic Expansion in Outlying Areas Project involved the design, establishment, and monitoring and evaluation of capacity building activities for ministerial staff, rural households, emerging entrepreneurs and existing district entrepreneurs.

Central Asia: HIV/AIDS Programme sees GRM has working with government, NGOs and civil society organisations to promote harm reduction through behaviour change communication that will involve services, pathways projects, the print and audio-visual and web media. This programme has includes the establishment of a competitive grants fund.

Afghanistan: Support to Strategic Planning for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods project is strengthening the capacity of Afghan Government institutions concerned with agriculture and rural development.

Papua New Guinea: The Primary and Secondary Teacher Education Project (PASTEP) was a high profile five-year project designed to raise the quality and relevance of teacher education to meet the requirements of the National Education Reform Agenda.
