We are an international development and engineering consulting company with nearly 50 years of experience of providing management and consulting services in developing countries.

Before 2011, we were a part of the global engineering business WSP Group Plc and were known as WSP International Management Consulting. In 2011, we became an independent company through a Management Buy Out (MBO). We are now known as IMC Worldwide (IMC). There has been no change in personnel or management following the MBO, and IMC's capability and range of technical and professional skills and expertise remains unchanged. Our move to independence is an exciting opportunity for us to grow and diversify the services we deliver to our clients around the world.

We work with all of the major international donor agencies, non-government and relief organisations, trust funds and, government agencies, local authorities and with communities themselves to help address some of the most difficult development problems and barriers to poverty reduction. Our background is in the transport and infrastructure sector but we provide a full range of professional consulting services, including:

Governance and Anti-Corruption
We build good governance, transparency and anti-corruption policies into all of our projects as a matter of course and deliver projects focussed on good governance, institutional transparency and high-level policy-making.

Project and Programme Management
We manage the whole project cycle, from defining a concept to completing the programme in infrastructure, livelihoods and disaster reconstruction.

Disaster Preparedness and Reconstruction
We provide services to help vulnerable countries and people prepare for disasters, such as earthquakes, floods and hurricanes, and we help in the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction process.

Infrastructure and Engineering
Our background is in infrastructure and engineering, particularly in the transport sector, and we retain particular expertise in this area. We have managed and implemented large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects throughout the world.

Organisational Change
We help organisations become more accountable, efficient and effective and we help manage change and transformation.

Economics and Private Sector
We work with governments and private sector to promote economic development at regional, national and local level in developing and transitional countries.

Environment and Climate Change
We work with governments and communities to help plan for and mitigate the impacts of climate change, and we work to promote environmental sustainability and protection.

Knowledge and Framework Management
We lead and contribute to frameworks for a number of international donors, providing expertise and technical support on a pre-qualified basis. We develop networks and knowledge management systems to manage and disseminate information and knowledge.

Monitoring and Evaluation
We monitor the developmental impact of projects and help to determine if they have provided value for money and if they have delivered what they were intended to deliver.

Livelihoods and Social Development
We are experienced at community and stakeholder consultation and mobilisation, social impact assessment and social analysis, social safeguards and developing sustainable livelihoods.

Transport Sector Policy, Planning and Economics
We are experienced in all aspects of the transport sector, from engineering and roads building to transport economics and planning, high-level policy-making and related fields.

Road Safety
We provide road safety engineering, risk management, training, studies and audit services to public sector organisations in developing and transitional countries.
