Project Management: Planning and co-ordination; consultant and contractor selection; preparation of briefs; management of design delivery and information control; programming and contract administration; project reviews.
Engineering Services: Provision of a full financial service for the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation elements of a project.
Facilities Management: Advice on market testing; property management including preparation of tender documentation and full administration of support facilities, advice on planned maintenance and energy management, asset register surveys, benchmarking.
Quality and Safety Management: Quality management services including implementation of TQM; training and secondment, development of safety management systems; preparation of safety plans, health & safety audits.
Business Solutions / Management Consultancy: Incorporating strategic planning, business improvement consultancy, value improvement, risk management, PFI/PPP consultancy, Competency Improvement - training and capacitation
Conceptual Design: Architects and building engineers provide conceptual designs for head office projects and high tech facilities.

GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS - Asset management of Government buildings for the Department of Public Works in South Africa; cost management framework provider for the Dutch Foreign Office and its properties abroad. Framework provider for the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the UK. Providing assistance in the refurbishment of Eland House in London for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Department of Transport.
HEALTH - PPP/PFI consultancy for first PFI health project in Italy; hospital / clinic developments in South Africa; Involved in all forms of Health Sector procurement initiatives in the UK including Treasury Funded Schemes, Procure 21, PFI/PPP and NHS Lift.

MUSEUMS -Turner & Townsend currently works on the largest museum complex in Europe - the Museum of 20th Century Art at the Arengario in Milan, Italy. They have also won many awards for their work in this field in the UK including Museum of Scotland, Glasgow Science Centre and the Imperial War Museum of the North.
HERITAGE - Turner & Townsend are refurbishing the Pietermaritzburg Old Magistrates Court according to the principals of the Monuments Council to accommodate a new Civil Court and maintaining the architectural integrity of the building.
OFFICES - Largest new office development in Cape Town, South Africa; Vodacom HQ in South Africa; De Beers HQ in South Africa; Diemer Circle in Amsterdam; Schiphol Business Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands; new Siemens head office in Beijing, China; new head office & R&D facility for Siemens in Singapore.

OIL & GAS - Specialist oil & gas division Turner & Townsend Energy has worked in more than 20 countries and its client list shows the world's major gas operators and contractors, including Amerada Hess, BG, BHP Billiton, BP, ChevronTexaco, Enterprise Oil, Marathon Oil, Norsk Hydro, Petro Canada, Sasol, Shell, Total Fina Elf, Woodside Energy.
RAIL TRANSPORT - Rome Metro extension in Italy; work for Adtranz in Malaysia; heavy & light rail projects in the UK, including Leeds Supertram, Croydon Tramlink, Nottingham Express Transit. In the UK, we hold two frameworks with Network Rail for project services and commercial services.
We also have a framework with London Underground Ltd and recently completed a commission reviewing the recovery process after a Central Line train derailed causing disruption for 600,000 passengers.
RETAIL - Expertise in this sector, capability of handling large roll-out projects and an innovative approach to brand management has ensured that clients such as Nissan have re-appointed us for its new European retail roll-out as well as its retail roll-out programme in North America. SEMICONDUCTORS - With more than 20 years' experience in this sector, Siemens Industrial Building Consultants, which is a joint venture between Turner & Townsend International and Siemens, have carried out projects around the globe from conception through to final delivery. Recent projects include AMS in Austria, 1st Silicon in Malaysia and Infineon's 300mm Line in Dresden.
URBAN REGENERATION - Feasibility studies for 50 brownfield sites across Italy. In the UK, T&T has been involved in more than 50 urban regeneration projects, including Glasgow's Crown Street project, Sunderland arc, Tees Valley Regeneration and work with the regeneration company for the 2008 European City of Culture, Liverpool Vision.
