ACTIVITIES

Exploration Geology and Resource Evaluation:
Resource modelling, geostatistics, reserve evaluation and classification. Exploration programme design, supervision and logging; representative sampling for evaluation, mineralogy and metallurgy.

Mining Feasibility and Design:
For precious and base metals, coal, diamonds and industrial minerals: Open pit, underground mines and quarries: New mine projects, rehabilitation and expansions. Computer aided mine design. Production scheduling, manning and costing for planned tonnage and grade of ore.

Stock Exchange Listings:
Preparation of independent stock exchange prospectus documents and competent persons reports.

Mining Economics and Auditing:
For management control, reorganisation, expansion, sale, refinancing, privatisation. Mine valuation, economic optimisation and risk/reward assessments and product specification and market analysis.

Mining and Civil Geotechnical Engineering:
All mine and quarry excavations, tunnels, roads, dams, and foundation design. Risk assessment, support, subsidence, ground stabilisation and monitoring.

Tailings and Waste Disposal:
Disposal site permitting, design and construction supervision. Closure and rehabilitation planning, water effluent treatment.

Water Resources:
Water supply, mine water management and dewatering, pollution control. Storm water management, flood studies, environmental audits, management, monitoring, baseline studies. Impact assessment.
