The shockwaves from Dubai have subsided a little, but what will be the knock-on effects? Where and how should UK consultancies be looking for opportunities in the Gulf?
Focus on the Gulf: this meeting at British Expertise on Wednesday 24 February from 1000 – 1200 will offer members a chance to hear and discuss up-to-date information from the Middle East. Although there will be a focus on construction and infrastructure, this will also cover sectors such as healthcare and education.
We are particularly pleased to welcome Richard Harding QC to the meeting. Richard is from Keating Chambers, the UK’s leading set of barristers chambers specialising in construction law, who is also Chairman of the Society for Construction Law in the Gulf and a regular visitor to the region
In addition to Richard, the speakers will be:
- Phil Haymes and Phil Dowrick, Fiscal Stimulus Business Specialists from UKTI (fresh from recent visits to the Gulf)
- Alan Turner, MD of Gleeds Gulf
- Dominic James, British Expertise will also brief members on his construction-focussed mission to Saudi Arabia (12-17 February).
