This half-day training seminar by member company, GIC Limited, will be held on Monday, 07 June from 1330 to 1700. The seminar provides both an invaluable initial orientation to consultants new to the world of International Financing Institutions (IFIs) and a useful refresher to those with marketing and business getting responsibilities who need a quick update.
The contents reflect the latest development agendas and current procedures of the principal IFIs (World Bank Regional Development Banks, EC Third Country Programmes, DFID). Coverage includes project financing mechanisms, the different responsibilities of the IFI, and beneficiary government, how to get short listed and best strategies for winning new business. One feature of the seminar is a real time tour of a selection of IFI websites including useful shortcuts to information on current and forthcoming opportunities.
